Elizabeth Mangas, Chief Experience Office, joined ERB in 1998 as the Associate Director of ISEE. She was promoted to Director in 2000. Since then she has been involved in development of the third edition of ISEE, online administration of the current test for Grades 5 through 12, the development of ISEE testing for grades 2, 3, and 4 (all online) and creation of the Admission Assessment for Beginning Learners (AABL), ERB's admission assessment for students entering Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade.
Ms. Mangas is most proud of having assisted in the development of what is today over 40 ISEE school consortia. These consortia crate online and paper testing options for schools and families that maximize convenience in terms of the timing and geographic needs of schools and families. She has also led creation of ERB score reports that are sophisticated in providing data as well as nuanced in conveying the student’s own voice through their essay. Under her direction over the last two decades, ISEE staff have continued to perfect the art of serving students, parents and school administrators in the high-stakes environment of admission testing.
Ms. Mangas has a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College.
