Aaron Mieszczanski was appointed Director of Admission at Harvard-Westlake School in 2018. Harvard-Westlake is one of the largest independent schools in the US, serving over 1600 students in grades 7 through 12 in Los Angeles. Prior to Harvard-Westlake, Aaron served as the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at San Francisco University High School for five years. He was previously at The Thacher School for five years as Senior Associate Director of Admission and Coordinator of Multicultural Outreach, where he also served as an advisor to sophomore boys and coached basketball and soccer.
Mr. Mieszczanski currently serves as a member of the selection committee for the Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship from the Institute for Educational Advancement. He has previously served as a member of the Enrollment Management Association’s Admission Leadership Council, where he co-chaired the Mentorship Initiative to support the development of admission professionals.
Mr. Mieszczanski is a graduate of the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, has a B.A. from Williams College, and an M.S.Ed. in Independent School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
