Getting started with

writing practice

We've upgraded WPP and renamed it ERB Writing Practice.

While it may look a bit different, Writing Practice still features the same opportunities for students to improve their writing abilities and to connect with their teachers and peers. However, the student rostering process has changed—keep reading to learn how to get started.

1

Place your order.

Just like WPP, you'll find Writing Practice under Writing Programs at ordering.erblearn.org. Simply place an order for the number of seats you'll need for the upcoming school year.

2

Upload your roster.

You can now create and manage your courses, teachers, and students yourself. You'll create your roster file following similar instructions as those for WPP. However, Writing Practice allows you to upload this roster on your own.

Log in to Writing Practice
Go to writingpractice.erblearn.org and log in using the same information you used to log in to WPP. If you're a new user, you can find your login credentials in your welcome email from writingsupport@erblearn.org.
Create your roster.
Once logged in, go to the Schools section. Scroll to the bottom of the Schools screen and click the Download button. You can choose to download a blank roster template or a sample roster. You'll find additional instructions for completing your roster in the roster template file.
Import Roster
When your roster file is complete, navigate to the Schools section of Writing Practice and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the Roster Import button to complete the import process. You'll find additional instructions for uploading your roster in the roster template file.

You're ready to go!

Once your rosters are uploaded, your teachers and students can log in and start writing! Just keep in mind that everyone will log in using the new address writingpractice.erblearn.org.
