Meet Milestones from ERB
ERB Milestones interim assessments for students in Grades 3-8 cover Reading Comprehension and Mathematics, and are an extension of our time-tested Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP), offering educators consistency, flexibility, and timeliness.
Consistency
Leverages the CTP independent school vertical scores, norms, and standards many schools already use for enhanced validity and familiar score interpretation.
Flexibility
Reading and math tests administered in 40-minute modules per subject can be administered at various points during the school year—whenever works best for each classroom.
Timeliness
ERB 360 Access provides educators with student data in real-time, making it easier than ever to not only track student progress but also use assessment data meaningfully.

Why? Because ERB members told us these were the subject areas most important to them for an interim assessment. The CTP provides our full battery of subtests; Milestones were designed to be agile yet powerful to keep educators and families informed and classrooms moving forward.
Administered online for speed and ease of use
ERB Milestones were designed for the 21st century classroom. Subtests only take 40 minutes to complete, and scores are returned within 24-48 hours. Going digital makes this speed possible. Paper tests take longer to complete (more work for students) and longer to score (more work for us). No thank you!
Can be used with or without CTP
ERB Milestones were designed as a complement to CTP to track student progress leading up to or coming out of that summative assessment. But for schools that prefer not to test the full CTP, you do have the flexibility to use the shorter Milestones multiple times across the year.

ERB Milestones Assessments is administered in school with easy check-in procedures and flexible scheduling options. Students can test individually or in groups, at the same time or on different days.

Testing Options
Test Up To Three Times A Year
ERB Milestones are administered a maximum of three times a year when used as a standalone assessment—in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. When paired with CTP, Milestones are administered twice a year—in the Fall and Winter or in the Winter and Spring depending on when CTP is administered.
Bundle with CTP
Take your testing program to the next level by administering both Milestones and CTP. CTP is an annual assessment that covers a full battery of subjects to complement Milestones' shorter, interim touchpoints for more targeted interventions and better curriculum design.
